I couldn't resist snapping a few photos of the two strollers side by side. The Triumph is on it's way out the door. Onyx wins! :yay: These photos aren't as pretty as some of the other real review sites, but they might help someone. :)

Really cool car seat-like adjuster for harness:

Well, I love the pink too, but it is even more vivid in real life. It's really bright. I would probably have kept it if I had ordered red instead. I am in love with the Onyx, though. And they are too similar to keep both.

Wonderful pictures! The pink Mac is darling but the Onyx looks very nice too. You can always liven it up with a Mac liner!

The Onyx does look like a great stroller - I really like the harness! But having a boy (and grey & blue strollers) the pink just looks so fun (and bright)!

Great post and pictures
The Cybex looks like a wonderful stroller, comparable to XT even in terms of comfort for the little one?

Wow, from the pics, the cybex totally blows the mac away!

I think that cybex is really sharp.

Thank you for the comparison pictures! It looks like the Onyx recline is better, do you think so?

I honestly think that the reclines are comparable, but the added extendable footrest really ups the comfort. The fabric on the Onyx is more "smooshy" and plush. It just seems more comfy. The Onyx does remind me of the Techno, but more lightweight. It's kind of a cross between all of the Macs. That's totally unhelpful, I know!

The only things I noticed about the Onyx was the push could be better, (definitely not one-handed), and the fold is a different motion than the Macs. It took me a few times to figure it out. No suspension on the wheels.

Those are nit picks though. I think it is a terrific travel/dr apt/quick run in somewhere stroller. Two thumbs up!

I actually have the Onyx, but have never had a Mac so I never know how to compare them for others, especially the recline.

I can steer one handed pretty well. But I do hate the fold. Not the size when it is done, but the actual process. I find it annoying that I have to have the brake off (mine is a 2009, maybe they changed this?) and then I find it hard to pull up on the carry strap at the same time I am pushing in with my foot. And then yet another step. Just annoying.

I think the onyx does have rear wheel suspension though, doesn't it?

ETA: Yes it does have rear wheel suspension. http://strollersandprams.com/strollers/1027/Mamas-and-Papas-Cybex-Onyx-Black/reviews.html

Love the pics. The dark handles/trim definitely looks sleeker than the 2009 white models.

How does the weight compare?

I like the look of the Cybex, but I am really in to 'light' strollers - the MAC looks lighter. Is it?

According to strollerqueen's triumph review it is 11.5 pounds. The Onyx is supposed to be 14.5 I think. So the triumph is definitely lighter.
