It's in our area this weekend and I'm trying to decide if it is worth the money. FYI: DS are 7 yo and 4 yo.

I would love to hear about your experience if you've been.
TIA

It's very loud! If your kids are sensitive to noise get some earplugs before going. I highly recommend buying tickets in the family section too. I remember going one year before they had the family seating and getting drenched in beer, it was not pleasant.
My BIL and SIL took their kids a few weeks ago here and my SIL and the kids were in culture shock, it's very ummm...redneck.
It's neat to see especially if you have a boy totally into trucks!

DH took DS 2 years ago. They both wore earplugs. DS had an absolute blast. Note: they drove 1 hour to go (it's out in the boonies and very redneck). But, DS still talks about it.

Loud for sure but I also remember it being really smokey, lots of fumes and gas smells.

Our boys (6 & 3) love it. My best buddy and I take them every year. Take earplugs/ear muffs.

Our 3 year old fell ASLEEP at it last year in my buddy's lap. It was hilarious - maybe I can find a pic of it somewhere.

A couple of friends took their boys last weekend and they had a great time.

DS went when he was 3 and loved it. He did wear earmuff-style ear protection.

i took ds1 when he was 4...he fell asleep during the last half. it was pretty cool. probably best to sit as close as you can afford.

my boys found pics of ds1 at the event and now want to go since the commercials are all over the place...we have plans that weekend or we'd go.
