Gardening with a 2 yo?

I am starting to think about planting our vegetable garden and would love to involve my 22 month old. Does anyone have any fun ideas for getting her involved? She likes to pull our plants out of the ground but obviously that is only helpful when we want it out (not usually!)

Get her a little watering can and let her water the plants. My kids love that. Also if you start your plants from seeds you can have her help with that. Put her finger in to make the hole, give her one seed (or she'll want to drop them all in) and let her put it in the hole and have her cover it with dirt. Lots of fun.
