This is an anti-bitch of times when we get stink eye from other parents.

We've been go to gymnastics for 18 months and it's mostly the same kids and their parents in the waiting room. Some of us go to the same school, others we only see at gymnastics. Today, one of the Dads that is there asks if we want a glass of wine, cheese/prosciutto while we wait. He often has this around 5pm, but not on gymnastics days. So, he decided to bring wine, glasses and a cheese plate to share.

We all decided to take it in turns and each week bring something for the parents to nibble on while we wait for our kids.

How nice :) It's the little things, when we go out of our way to do something thoughtful for others, that makes our days a little brighter!

Oh, how civilized! I'd be delighted. Not a goldfish cracker or juice box in sight? Sigh.

That is refreshing to hear! It's nice when people can come together and just chill.

Wow, I am in awe of how nice it was for him to start that and get it set up! It's so nice to hear a good story, instead of these drive by mommy stories.
