yesterday my brother was in a motorcycle accident. he is in the trauma unit and will remain there for at least the next few days. his skull is fractured in two places and he has a tube draining blood away from his brain. his wrist is broken and his face is broken. he is in a medically induced coma and is woken up every hour to be checked on. its pretty much a big waiting game as far as the brain swelling and surgery goes. theres not much we can do but say our prayers. please keep my family in your thoughts over the next few days.

If it helps any, my brother was riding his motorcycle on the freeway and was struck my a Semi-truck. This was in the late 80's and he DID recover. Not without some leftover issues, and it took some time but the human body is SO resilient and I pray that your brother makes a full recovery.

my brother had brain surgery last night and it went really well. he will continue to be in the coma for about a week. after the surgery the pressure in his head went down. we are all very happy and proud of my brother for fighting so hard! he is awesome. lets send our prayers up to see him through this recovery process!!!!

my brother is still in a coma and now has pnuemonia in his left lung. he does have a small area in the front of his skull with permanent brain damage. i hope this does not affect him but we will not know for sure until he wakes up and starts to recover. please continue to pray for him and our family. its been a rough road but we are all optimistic and cant wait for him to start getting better so we can love him up:hug5:

PVS is a tough one. You may want to research Ambien & talk to his doctors about it. It didn't help in my loved one's case, but I've read that it has helped others.
