I am attending a baby shower in a few weeks, and the organizer has asked for everyone to send a quote, piece of advice, etc. to contribute to an inspirational group book for the mom-to-be. I am not the most creative and I am having a difficult time coming up with something to contribute. Since we are celebrating the arrival of baby #3 for this mom, I don't want to give her anything too basic, since she probably knows it already. :) Can anyone help me come up with something meaningful to contribute? TIA for your suggestions!

My recent favorite mommy quote was something someone posted here...surprise, surprise....I'll try to find it, but it was something about....not everything that turns out well with kids can we take credit for, nor everything that does not turn out well is our fault. Okay, so it was waaaay more eloquent than that....but hopefully you will get the idea.

I really like a lot of the quotes in this thread, especially this one:

"The voice you use with you children becomes their inner voice."

I was going to suggest the inner voice quote, but I was beat to it. I read that on thread mentioned and it has stuck with me. I hear it in my head when I get stressed/frustrated. It helps me to keep me patience!!!! I love it!!!
