Need Help with Bugaboo Frog

I inherited an old one (without the instructions) and am using the seat for the first time. Quick question for anyone who has one: can you only use the canopy with seat when the seat is forward facing? It seems like the canopy attaches to the frame, not to the seat, so as I moved the seat to be rear/parent facing I have a canopy on the handlebar that has no seat under it. Much thanks in advance for any help!

The canopy clamps onto the frame of the seat/bassinet. Do you see a spot where there's no foam? That's where the clamps attach.

In this photo, some Bugs don't have canopies and the foam-less attachment spot is visible, especially #5. (You can also see a rear-facing seat with the canopy in position in #2, as well as the bassinet with the canopy in #1.)

Thanks so much! I had the fabric down on the seat so much that I couldn't even spot that there was a enough frame to snap anything on. I also didn't realize that the canopy clamp rotates. These pictures and your post were very helpful. I got the canopy on the rear facing seat!
