Local election - mailer question

Can I request that one specific candidate for a local office stop sending mailers to our home? We are now getting them about 3-4 times a week it seems, as the election is March 8. I have reasons for not wanting mailers from this particular candidate, but I don't want to get into that. Just wondering if I request it, do they have an obligation to stop sending to me?

You can call the campaign office and ask to be taken off their lists but election stuff is not covered with the no call list etc so if they want to keep sending you stuff they can.
