We've recently gone to undies as well and it's been ok. Hoping the same for you as well!!!

Do you have to do a night waking to take your DC to the bathroom? We are thinking we will do that at least tonight to see how it goes. DS is a DEEP sleeper and will not wake up on his own overnight to use the bathroom. He never has so far.

We are taking him to the bathroom when we go to be at night around 10ish. Sometimes we forget and he has been ok sometimes and not okay sometimes.

DS1 JUST went through this. We don't do a night time toilet trip. I'd say every 5 days or so he has had an accident but often a light one (eg on PJs but not wet sheets) as I think it wakes him up -- often at say 5 am vs his more regular 6 am wake up time etc. I do try to limit him water just before bed and also encourage him to try a couple of times before bed (eg before teeth brushing and after a book. just before lights out etc).

GOOD LUCK!

Sending best wishes and lots of dry vibes your way!!!

DS is 6 1/2 and has made it up to 18 or 19 nights before disaster struck. Last night WOULD HAVE BEEN night # 12 (sigh....). I hope your journey is smooth and arid! :-)

Sending "stay dry" vibes. But don't get discouraged by setbacks if they happen.

:yeahthat: DS has been night trained for over 2 years and he still has the occasional accident. The mattress protector is still on the bed.

Honestly, I'm ok with DS having an accident a week (which is how it's been in pullups). I figure that I change linen once a week anyway.....

Dry.

I woke him up at midnight to use the bathroom. He got up and got back into bed--told me to go away (he is a very deep sleeper).
