I wanted to post about a book that I just finished and LOVED.

OK, I'll admit that I am probably biased b/c one of my friends wrote the book, but ..... she is really good. She is a birthmom to a 20 year old. She has a great relationship with her 20 year old son and his parents. She is also a social worker and has worked on the placement side of adoption for many, years. It's worth a read. I learned a lot from the book ! Oh, and a quick bit of trivia, the author also leads the birthmom retreats that Catelynn from Teen Moms is shown attending.

I'll have to see if I can get my hands on a copy of this. I'm a birth mom to a just-turned 16 yr old son. I don't know his adoptive father as well anymore since his parents split up...but we generally see each other once a year and correspond around birthday's and holiday's. Sounds like an interesting book, thanks for posting.
