I am carrying my trusty and probably favorite purse my Dooney and Bourke All Weather Leather backpack. It's my winter purse (not that there is really a winter season in So Cal). It is similar to this one (http://cgi.ebay.com/DOONEY-BOURKE-ALL-WEATHER-NAVY-BLUE-LEATHER-PURSE-MINT-/260643672159?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item3caf92d05f), but all black. I got it in 2001 and it's still in great shape.

Our winters are so wet, and these are the only bags I've found that still look great after a few months use. This is my second winter with this one, and it looks absolutely perfect. I don't think I'll ever spend more than $30 or so on any other brand again.

I was worried it would be too shiny from the pics, but it's not at all. It's a beautiful, smooshy brown leather. I will be carrying this one for a long, long time.

Thank you. I just changed the photo on mine because I realized something wasn't quite right...mine has gold on it, not silver. I apparently have the downmarket MICHAEL Michael Kors version...the other one retails for $850. There's no discount deep enough for that one in my house! :rotflmao:

OMG you guys have cute bags! I started the day carrying my very sentimental pink cotton bag that I got in some store in Rome that reads in pink sequins: I LOVE YOU FOREVER. (Oh the stories that bag could tell!) It currently is in the wash because it was filthy! Now I have some old J Crew bag. It's very non-descript and certainly does not merit a link or a photo. Hmmm, bday coming up...maybe asking for a new bag is not a bad idea ;)

I've got Pollini in mid 90's but has not used it for 5-7 years before recently rediscovering it. First...LOVE LOVE LOVE the Orla bags. I have several and they are my absolute favorite.

That being said, DH got me a really nice Coach purse for Christmas and I'm using that. It's just a basic small brown print one. I really like it and LOVE that he was able to get it at deep discount through a friend.

I went back to my trusty black leather Coach bag that I got atleast 4-5 years ago. It isn't that soft leather that some of their bags are but a tougher leather and has held up so well. Plus it's the right size and easy to use. I would love another go-to bag but it hasn't made it to the top of the priority list yet.
