View Full Version : Bee Plus vs BJCM

I have the older Bee and DD really looks too tall for it now. We're expecting another in June and DD doesn't seem to be giving up strollers anytime soon so I'm willing to buy another.

How is the seat back height on the BJCM? I love the push of the Bee... would I be okay with the push of the BJ? The price difference is just so huge.

Or, are there other models/brands I should consider? I want something inbetween an umbrella (Maclaren type) and a full-featured stroller (we have the Cam).

Any suggestions or ideas would be great!

The push on the BJCM is great for a $200 stroller, but IMO not really comparable to the Bee (or even to my BOB) if that's what you're used to (and we all know I love my BJCM). I haven't spent long periods pushing a Bee or a Bee Plus, but I know one thing people love is the push. If reversible is not super important to you, you may want to consider something lightweight with air tires like the Indie or the Swift, that will give you a better push, or upgrade to the Bee Plus. Otherwise, the BJCM is a great little stroller. I would definitely try it in the store though...

I don't think I've ever seen an Indie or Swift IRL though. They don't sell at BRU or BuyBuyBaby, do they?

I've seen Indies in BBB... but never a Swift! (never in RL too in that matter lol)

Yes, sorry, MB Swift! :)

My buy buy baby does not carry them in store, I have only seen them at one of our upscale baby chains. You could also look at the 12 inch bob that is on closeout right now... It is fairly light IMO...
