The instructions for that table specify, "Holds up to 20 lbs. of sand"

Thanks. Do you think that's to fill both sides? I just want to fill one. . . .

I have that table. I bought a 25 lb box of Clean Sand (http://www.lakeshorelearning.com/search/results.jsp?bmForm=keyword_search&bmFormID=1298560327967&bmUID=1298560327967&bmIsForm=true&bmPrevTemplate=%2Fproduct%2FproductDet.jsp&bmText=initialSearchTerm&initialSearchTerm=clean+sand&bmHidden=search&search=10&bmImage=search.x&bmImage=search.y&bmHiddenName=search&bmHiddenIndex=0&bmImage=search&search.x=0&search.y=0&bmHidden=SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3EsearchFor&SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3EsearchFor=clean+sand&bmHidden=SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3Epath&SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3Epath=%2Fmedia%2Fcontent%2Fsearch&bmHidden=SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3Epath&SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3Epath=%2FProducts%2FLakeshore&bmHidden=SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3EobjectTypes&SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3EobjectTypes=PRODUCT&bmHidden=SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3EobjectTypes&SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3EobjectTypes=CONTENT&bmHidden=SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3EsearchTextOperator&SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3EsearchTextOperator=and&bmHidden=autocompleteFlag&autocompleteFlag=&bmHidden=ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=1408474395181113) from Lakeshore Learning and it fills one side nicely. I have an extra box to do top-offs.

Also want to thank you for this info! I just ordered two boxes and shipping is very reasonable at about $8.xx, to Hawaii.

I'm glad I could help!
I would have thought you could just scoop up some beautiful sand at the beach! :)
We're coming out there soon and I can't wait!

Yes, I was thinking about grabbing some beach sand, but, I'm a slight germaphobe and decided not to grab some when I thought about bird poop, cigarette butts, discarded food, trash, etc.

Hope you enjoy your visit to Hawaii!
