I love the Pb Kids ones, but the basket plus the personalized liner is out of the budget right now. Complicating matters, I need three! Recs please. Thanks!

I felt the same way. I bought the basket one year, and the liners the next. Is that an option? Then you would get exactly what you want.

If not, Michael's has some cute lined baskets for a lot less.

FWIW the baskets will go on sale before Easter. I got DC's baskets on sale about a week or so before Easter and they arrived in time (3 years ago). Watch these boards people will post when they are discounted.

Not that this is helping you but mine are from PBK. I buy very little from PBK as I don't think the quality lives up to the hype. BUT I do really like my baskets from there. I wanted a very big basket for DD since I knew we'd tend to do toys more than candy and the PBK basket was one of the only I found that had a big basket area with a lot of space under the handle plus I knew I may want to get a matching one with a second child down the road (and I did) and I had a good chnace of doing that with PBK basket. I got the monograms somewhere else one year because PBK only offered white thread on a pale pink liner which I didn't like.

Michaels or JoAnn Fabrics has a ton of nice baskets - cheap even with liners included when on sale or with a coupon. You can get embroidery lots of places - look in the yellow pages - standard price is about $12 an item minimum around here so not really cheaper but you get more options.

DD1's a PBK knockoff from Target. I think it was $10 or $15, but my mom bought it in 2006. I am hoping they have some this year.

I have a PB kids basket for DS, but I decided to find new ones for DD. I just ordered 2 from this seller on etsy.

For DD:

For DS: (not really a basket, but we will use it for some cars after Easter)

For DS I have a PBK one I got on sale back in 2005. Missed the sale last year for DD and am looking for something this year. PBK doesn't make the Honey Color I have for DS so I'll probably not bother with them anyway. For something that gets used once a year not sure it's really worth it anyway unless it is in your budget or you find a good sale. I'd go with etsy or the Michael's suggestion. You could get iron on letters to personalize or have it embroidered at one of those tshirt places.

We got the mini collapsing baskets from Garnet Hill when they were on sale. I do like the German ones for durability (and ours will be used for the farmers' market after Easter), but if it is just for Easter, the knock-off ones might work for you (easier to find a bargain on, too).
