Can anyone recommend a travel swing that is safe for a newborn and has batteries (or plugs in)? The only ones I've seen don't have an infant headrest.

We have the FP Open Top Take Along cradle swing. We got it when DS was 6 months old but we plan to use it again if we have another child. I would say it would be perfect with a Snuzzler for a newborn. We've traveled with it.

Wow I never thought of using our snuzzler in a swing. Ha - thanks for the idea!

I got the boppy swing as a hand-me-down and it does have a newborn insert. I have had issues with the harness, as mentioned in another thread, but just gave up on buckling him in and it has been fine - but we don't have older siblings who might mess with the baby or anything like that. I'm still using it at 6+ months. When he's sitting and/or could possibly get out of it, I'll stop.
