I have 7 strollers right now, and I really need to downsize. I've only sold 1 stroller before, and I sold it for how much I paid for it. I got it on a deep discount, so nothing lost. I want to sell my City Mini. How much should I list it for? It's a 2010 in excellent condition. Thanks.

Once you figure out a price, please let me know! I am interested in the City Mini!! What color do you have?
Thank you!!

Depends on where you live and what your CL is like and if you have any accessories.
RIght now you can find a new 2010 for about $179-200, so if you don't want to wait until the 2010s are cleared out... I'd say you could list a 2010 at about $175 but expect about $150-160
If you wait until there are no deals left on 2010s, you can maybe list a little higher, keeping in mind that bargain savvy shoppers can get a 2011 around $200...

All and all, I'd say expect to get about $150-175 with no accessories depending on your CL and your ability to be patient (and assuming your stroller is EEUC).

HTH!

:yeahthat:
I am in the market for one right now as well, but I don't plan to pay more than $150 if its used. I am pretty OCD about getting strollers for as deep of a discount possible though. :)

I agree with poohbear...

Expect about $150 with no accessories at a minimum... If I saw one on CL for higher than $150-60ish, I'd consider just waiting for a deal on a 2010 closeout. With accessories, maybe $200 max?

I bought a 2010 in may. Sold it in june on Chicago's CL for $200 on the first day! Love, love, love Chicago! There were still ways out there to buy this stroller new for $195(like I did) but most people don't know that.

If you have the time I would wait for the 2010s to clear out.

Chicago CL is crazy IMO. Great for sellers, terrible for buyers. I love it because I can sell my stuff, but I rarely buy anything on our CL ;) But that's a good point, many people buying are not deal savvy...

You are definitely better off waiting until there are no deals to be found. Plus the 2011s went up to $239...

It is true that cities are different on CL...

I got my Dutailier glider and ottoman for $75 out in Syracuse NY, but they were priced very high in SoCal at $175-200 for the same thing...

I guess it all boils down to the old "supply and demand" concept as well as demographics...

Good luck selling... unless of course you change your mind and just keep it =)

Thanks for the help ladies. I got an offer for 170 and decided to go with it. I have a love/hate relationship with the City Mini. Right now I'm in the hate phase, so it's best to just get rid of it now before I decide to keep it. I'm trying to get down to only 3 strollers :)
