I am looking for a good one that I can put my Canon Rebel DSLR with a zoom lens, an external flash, a prime lens, and a small Sony camcorder. I prefer the shoulder style as I can still carry it why having my baby in Ergo. I hope to find one with good padding for protection and prefer one that doesn't have the detachable strap(like majority of photobag).

I really like the Crumpler 6 MDH but the price(>$100) stops me. Where can I find the deals? Any other brands I should consider? TIA!

DC just created her artwork with the Stockmar beewax color on the wall. Any advice on how to remove it? I couldn't get it out with the soap. TIA!

I have a lowepro (it's way old) and I love it. It has held up really well and has good padding.

What about the backpack style?

Do you think it has enough room for what you want? Might be an option.

I have a Lowepro Passport Sling, which I love. It should have room for everything you describe if you don't mind the camcorder being in the non-padded section (you could always add some padding or wrap it), and it doesn't look like a camera bag, but rather a nondescript functional sling. There's a removable padded insert that holds a camera plus an extra lens or two, then there are some small pockets for things like memory cards and batteries, and another unpadded compartment that can hold quite a bit. I have a padded lens case to hold an extra lens there, among other things. It's been working out great for me.

Amazon's price often drops into the $40s, so you could keep your eye out for that (tracking on the Camel site).

I carry my Canon, an extra lens or two and some accessories in this insert
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d.html/ref=redir_mdp_mobile/181-0262386-2121502?a=B003WQNLBY

The insert fits into my skip hop studio tote which is also the diaper bag. if I had more to carry I have a clik elite capsule in the small size that is longer and can carry more lenses but in a nine west tote. I'd rather fit a well padded insert into a fashionable non camera bag than to carry a camera bag.

Thanks. I prefer the shoulder style as I normally carry my baby in the Ergo. It will be easier to take it on and off.

:yeahthat:

another vote for the Crumpler bags. i think i have the $7million home. i got mine from amazon. it is really nice. pricey but when you think about it, not much compared to how much the camera+lenses+accessories cost. i use it often for air travel and i feel confident that my stuff is ok and i don't worry if stuff will get broken or whatnot.

another thing i like about Crumpler bags..they don't scream "i'm a camera bag. i carry lots of $$$ equipment!" i got one in a nice light blue color, and people always assume it's a diaper bag. :) which is good, bc then i don't have to worry as much about theft etc, especially when in touristy areas, airports, etc.

I also have a Lowepro sling, but a different version that carries more (including my SLR, 2 lenses, small camcorder, external flash and inevitably one or more of DS or DD1's cameras (smaller P&S and/or Flip): http://www.amazon.com/Lowepro-SlingShot-202-AW/dp/B0036AWR8E/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1298811122&sr=1-3

This bag is on my wishlist: http://jototes.com/handbags/noir (when it was available in green). I like that it looks much more like a purse.

Lowepro bag from amazon.com is the way to go! I have this one:

For fun shooting (as opposed to professional work, when I use a locking case for my equipment and carry my lenses and flashes in a Shootsac while shooting), I like my Kelly Moore Classic Bag (http://kellymoorebag.com/womens/classic.html/) or my Jo Totes Rose bag (http://jototes.com/handbags/rose-black) because they're pretty and don't scream "camera bag" like some of the other options.

Each has enough space for a body, a couple lenses, and a flash...probably the camcorder too.

Another vote for the Crumpler. I have the 5 million dollar home bad. Bought it used in mint condition on a photography forum for $45 shipped.

I have a Canon T2i, Kit Lens, Nifty Fifty Lens, Powershot 430 EX II flash in the bag. I probably could fit my HD camcorder in there as well.

HIGHLY recommended. Great build quality and great look.

I have an Epiphanie Lola in black that I :heartbeat: It's not cheap, but I did get mine from the Babybags board NWT, so it cost me less. Carries my Canon Xsi, a few lenses, my camcorder and my point and shoot. And it doesn't look at all like a camera bag!
