Can I use the hot tub if I'm breastfeeding?

Does anyone know if it's okay or will it affect my milk supply? Let me clarify that I don't mean with the baby. ;)

No idea what the prevailing wisdom is, but I can say that I frequently spend time in hot tubs and soak in very hot baths and I've never had a supply issue or noticed it reducing my supply at all. In fact, I sometimes feel like I have MORE milk after soaking in a hot tub, although I've always attributed that to the relaxing effects helping milk production. But of course the plural of anecdote ain't data, so take this with a grain of salt!

I love a good soak. I actually head to my tub on the rare occasions when my breasts are achy. The heat really helps.
