View Full Version : ?? about aftermarket ODDY warranty

We have a 2007 Oddy with about 45k miles. I'd like to get a warranty, if possible. I know I should've bought one at the time. I'm afraid the tranny will go out based on the Oddy's history.

We got a letter from Naviss saying they will give us a warranty to 2015/100k miles. Not sure what the cost will be. I've heard that people have trouble getting work done with aftermarket warranties, so I don't know if this is even worth it???

Any BTDT experience would be much appreciated!

I had an extended warranty and am so glad I did. The repairs greatly exceeded the plan cost and they paid the dealer promptly.

Good to hear it worked out well for you. When did you buy yours (how many miles approx), and can I ask approx. how much you pd?

We have a 2000 Oddy (that just turned over 200k this week!) and the Honda warranty on the transmission was up to 109k (it went up @111k (in 2007) & Honda covered it 100%) due to a class action suite. I would check with Honda to see what the warranty period is for your year.
