Do they make one of those pushable ride-on type toys that has rubber wheels instead of plastic? I've read several reviews that say the plastic wheels make these really loud and not very good for walks around the neighborhood etc.

I'm wondering if a radio flyer wagon is the only option with better wheels? Seems like she'd prefer something that looks more like she's actually driving it. :ROTFLMAO:

How old is your DC? Are you looking for one with four wheels like in what you linked to?

I have seen trikes with rubber wheels and a push handle for parents. I don't know if this would work, but here is an example of one http://www.amazon.com/Schwinn-Easy-Steer-Trike-Bike/dp/B003BWITGG/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top I don't own it so cant speak for it, but it doesn't have plastic wheels.

She's just turning 1... So, I need something that she won't fall off/out of easily. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll check it out.

We had this car and used it a ton. It has a removable floor board so you can go on walks.

I've been looking at that one and it seems really nice... was it super loud when you took it on walks? (because of the plastic wheels)

What do you guys think of that one? (Step2 Whisper Ride)

Supposedly it has rubberized wheels and doesn't make as much noise... seems like exactly what I was looking for but then I realized that she can't actually push herself in this when she gets a little older... seems that they other ones have a removable floorboard.

I have seen this one assembled in some B&M stores in my area. Have you seen any in your area? If you find some, maybe they would let you try it outside to see if you like it. You never know, its worth a shot :)

We have the original one, and wish it came with the quiet tires. Jack loved it... and was disappointed when he outgrew it.

The only negative was the tires. They were so loud, and when we were going for a walk, sometimes we wouldn't hear cars coming behind us because of the wheels.

So, if you're going to get one...get the Whisper Ride.
