Would you give a Mr. Pototo Head to a 2 yr. old?

I have to buy gifts for a birthday party tomorrow for two of DD1's friends at daycare, both boys. They are turning 4, and 2. They are having a Toy Story party and I remembered that I have a Mr. Potato Head, and Toy Story Memory in my stash of extra toys (ie: stuff I bought for DD1 but never gave her). Would you do that or should I just go and get something else that is better for a 2 yr. old?

DD3 turned 2 this past December and was given a Mrs. Potato Head as a gift for Christmas.
Hands-down....her FAVORITE toy.

I gave them to two 2 year-olds. ;) My DDs love Mr. Potatohead more than I expected. And it was nice finding a real toy that was for ages 2 and up.

FWIW, my son's very first Mommy and Me class was for just-turned-two year olds, and Mr. Potato Head was quite popular there, as well.

Both DCs loved Mr. Potato head at that age. And I think its a toy that would be OK to duplicate, so I wouldn't even worry about them already having one.

Yes to Mr. Potato Head for a 2yo and yes to it being ok to have more than 1. We have 2, and we like that 2 people can play at the same time. Sometimes you just don't want to dress Mr. PH by yourself. ;)

Mr. PH made his debut at Christmas just prior to DDs 2nd Bday. She loves to play with him and still gets him out all the time. I think it is a great gift. If you are worried about duplicates, can you find out if they have a Mr or Mrs? I would love to have the opposite gender if were were given a 2nd PH.

DS is 21 mos and LOVES the Mr. Potatoheads at his rec-center classes. I'm definitely getting him one for his 2 yr bday.

DS3 has been playing with our Mr. Potato heads since he was about one! He loves it!
