Nintendo DSi Questions!

DD is 5 and I bought her a Nintendo DSi today. We got it because her best friend has one, and I thought it would be nice if they could play together. We bought one game, "Littlest Pet Shop", to go with it. This game has a lot of reading and DD cannot read yet.

Do you really need to know how to read in order to play this thing?

Are there other games that would be better for her?

many of them you have to read but a few must haves are cooking mama, gardening mama or any of the mario games like mario cart or super mario brothers.

get the zhu zhu pets game. It's great. In fact I think they have several now... zhu zhu and kung zhu etc.

There have been a lot of threads on here for games that are good for younger kids if you do a search.

My 5 yr old isn't reading yet either and loves his Zhu Zhu game and Nintendogs. He also enjoys Uno and mario cart.
