stuffed animals. It has finally happened. What do you use to store your overabundance of stuffed animals? I'm considering getting a Boon pillow thing, but was wondering if there were any other options that I wasn't considering.

That's so funny, because I have been googling for a deal on the Boon animal bags this morning! I thought they would be nice under the new beds, and I heard you can store blankets and pillows there also. There are some new colors coming out soon, too.

I wish there was a knock-off version, because I still think they are pretty pricey for what they are. I saw one at TJ Maxx ages ago and wish I had grabbed it.

I saw one at TJ Maxx a while back too and now I'm kicking myself. At the time, we didn't have a stuffed animal infestation.

Let me know if you find a good deal.

A friend of DD's has a rope suspended from the ceiling with the stuffed animals all clipped to it. I thought it was cute - like this:

We have a pink boon bag, and frankly I'm not thrilled with it. It takes up a lot of floor space and DD never uses it as a bean bag to sit on.

We have 4 of these

2 of them hold animals and the other 2 we use for laundry.

We took the inner pillow out of DD's bean bag and stuffed some less-commonly-used-but-still-wanted animals in there. The more commonly played with animals are in a big crunch can from the container store.

We use these, similar to PP:

I have one container similar to others posted above - and I have a garbage bag full that needs to be donated. If it doesnt' fit in the can, it needs to go.

Now that DS is older and my sister, the main contributor of the stuffed toys realized he really isn't into stuffed animals, I'm hoping we don't get anymore.

DS has never been into stuffed animals. He did ask for a horse from a horse show we went too, and I thought great another one that will never been used, but it's been a month now and he's had it in bed every night. So you never know what they'll be attached to or not.

I'm secretly so happy that Lula's allergist said we had to get rid of the stuffies because of her nasty dustmite allergy. I'm a bad, selfish mama. :bag

I would love to just chuck them all-many places won't even take them for donation and you can't sell them so really what is the point??? Again, my SIL is the one who gives them so DH won't let me just get rid of them all. I don't mind the puppets as they have a purpose but the rest are just shelf sitters and dust collectors so I do random sweeps to get rid of them when nobody is noticing...

We have one of these for the stuffed animals that aren't slept with:

We haven't hung it up since moving to the new house, but here it is in the playroom of our last house.

Dd loooves her 100 or so stuffed toys so while I would love to purge I can't yet. But some will go into hibernation when we move, lol. And hopefully grandma will stop buying any more!

Her toys are in 2 container store crunch bins and one large 3 Sprouts elephant storage bin. They still runneth over. I'm thinking an under bed storage box where the less used ones can go, with the 3 Sprouts bin for the others (since it's the largest).

We bought each DC a Stickley chest (as an heirloom to pass down to them someday) and DD's stuffed animals live in the chest in her bedroom. I've purged with her a couple of times and have gotten rid of maybe 5 or 10 stuffed animals that way (not great but it's a start). She also has a wooden doll cradle that I bought from Target in the living room with her dolls (she has 5 or 6).

I like that rope idea and may have to copy.

My only problem is Jelly Bean doesn't play with her animals, but she likes to lay on top of a pile of them in a corner on the floor. I'm thinking the big dog and big bear get to stay on the floor, but the others are going up!
