The city I used to live in had one and I loved it! We live in the boonies now, so no Entertainment book. We used our other ones a lot.

I buy one every year (sometimes 2 if there's a great deal). There are a couple of coupons in there (bouncy castle place and a pizza place) that make the book free for me even if I don't use anything else in the book. I think you can go online to their website and browse which coupons would be in your city's book. Also, I believe there is cashback at ebates.

It easily pays for itself; our local edition has 4 coupons x $5 each for Shoprite, one of the chain grocery stores. As long as I remember to use it! We use ours a ton - now that we're using a stroller again I leave it in the stroller basket or in the car at all times.

IME once you buy from their website, they send you all kinds of great deals on next year's book. And in Aug (maybe) there will be a $5 sale with fs (at least there was last year).

I get a couple of them every year and they normally pay for themselves quickly but it seems this time my areas book has NO grocery coupons! This is what I purchased the books for to be honest, the other stuff is a nice perk too though. I don't pay anymore than $15 max, they do deals often and ebates and shopathome has good cashback on top of that.

I think it depends on where you live. When we lived in Houston, TX, we got one every year and used them a lot. When we moved to St. Paul/Minneapolis we bought them a couple years in a row but most of the time, the coupons were for restauarants on the other side of town that we wouldn't normally go to because of the distance, and same with the shops. They just didn't save us all that much money in the Twin cities.

We got one for a gift a few years ago. It was ok, but I am glad we did not pay for it. Most of the coupons were of no use to us.

They are never to places we go so we don't buy it.

We used to buy one every year. Like some PPs said it usually paid for itself with just a couple of uses...we opted not to get one this year though because with Groupon and sites like that so prevalent we weren't so sure we'd use it as much or find the things we needed.

I never saw grocery coupons in ours. It was mainly restaurants and zoos and places and their has been a Groupon for many of the places or comparable places.

And between ebates and a sale price I think it was about $10.

The elementary school near us sells them as a fundraiser for $25 a year. I've bought them the past 2 years and have definitely gotten my money back and then some. BOGO free admissions to museums, bounce places, coupons for restaurants, and % haircuts for the boys. I keep it in my car so I always have it when we are out.

Do the coupons and deals exp on 12/31 or sooner? I'm wondering if we should order one for our WDW trip for the orlando area, but our trip is not until December.

Most are only good until Nov. 1. At least the book used to run November 2 to November 1.
