I have to plan an activity for DD's daisy troop next week- 10 kindergartners. I need to have something- game, activity, craft that will take about 30 min. I'm so not good at this kind of thing. It's the day before st. patrick's day so was thinking maybe I could go with that theme and do a story/craft but need ideas. Can anyone think of something cute to do?

I personally like to go with the actual person and story of St. Patrick, rather than leprechauns. I'd so something with snakes. What about stuffing old socks or tights legs and making stuffed snakes? You can do the same thing with neck ties. You'd probably want to sew up or glue the end shut, but they make super cute snakes. Or make snake puppets. Then put on a puppet show?

Are they working on petals? This webpage has lots of good ideas.

I was going to ask the same thing...if you know a specific petal they're trying to get, I could look back at our Daisy materials to see if I could come up with something. Our girls started Daisies in K and the troop is still together in 3rd grade (finishing up Brownies)

I just checked- they are working towards red, courageous and strong. Thanks for the ideas, keep them coming!

One Pretty Thing (http://www.oneprettything.com/) is my go-to site for everything crafty. There have been recent St. Patrick's Day ideas but you can also go to Catagories and scroll down to "St. Patrick's Day Roundup" and get a ton more ideas.
