I have used toddler clothes to get rid of. I am saving some (should we have more) but some I am getting rid of. I have taken items to Once A Upon A Child before, and felt like they didn't give me much money.

Has anyone sold on threadup? Garage sale? Craigslist? Where do you sell yours?

Bbb swap and gymbofriends might be other places to consider.

Despite buying large quantities of high end kid clothing, I've (gasp) never sold a stitch of clothing! Not yet, any way. One of these days, I'll list them all on swap/GF.

I enjoy our local small consignment stores. They give 40-50% of their sale price. And they're choosey about what they take, so I usually get about $3.50 - $4 per piece.

I generally take it as in-store credit because I enjoy the quirky stuff they sell. I figure ... I'll sell it back to them when Sprog outgrows it & earn my 40% back again!

For consignment in this area, 40% is a fair deal. 50% is generous. And I only take clothes to stores that buy them up-front, never consignment for baby clothes. My stores do take maternity and equipment on consignment basis, though.
