Why do all of the cute invites have to be online, only sold in sets of 20 (Tiny Prints does do sets of 10 and they are the most reasonably priced, but they shipping estimate was March 21st; a little more than a week before the party, 4-2!)? Oh and why do I need to a photo of DD1 on the invite? And what happened to the cute fill in ones? I can make the cards too so I am not entirely SOL, but still I'd like something simple.

You'd have some extra for a scrapbook and the rest could go in recycling, but I totally get where you are coming form. Cute invite, too! ;)

Ok, I get that you feel wasteful putting 8-10 invites in the recycling bin. But. You probably put more than that in the bin from junk mail.

They are super cute, the price is good and you can pick them up from a variety of locations. Go for it, I say. :)

I got invites for my son's first birthday at diapers.com, it was definitely a 10 or 12 pack, and it was fill-in, too! I'm never together enough to get things printed in advance :)

I totally understand. We acutally have had good luck at The Paper Store for nice fill in the blank invitations and Thank you notes...

I used a seller on Etsy and printed the number we needed at WalMart because we needed more than 8 but fewer than 16.

She sends you the high-res proof JPEG after a proofing round and you're set.

DH panicked about getting envelopes, but I got plain envies that coordinated with the invite's colors at Michael's. (It was a 20-pack for about $6.)

I ordered the lego party pack at Living Locurto and was very happy with them! It did take a lot of work to print and cut everything, but I think that it was a decent price for a very custom look. She has really adorable designs. There is an owl theme that if I had a little girl, I would totally do that party!

THANK YOU! I never would've thought to do that either. I ended ordering the purple princess fill ins (http://www.diapers.com/product/productdetail.aspx?productid=41971), and some other thank you notes. Still had to pay shipping, but they will be here tomorrow!
