best lunchbox?

I'm looking for a lunchbox for DH to take to work. He's a type 1 diabetic and doesn't have time to take a lunch, so I need to pack him a couple of snacks to eat throughout his shift.

I'm looking at LL Bean, LE, and the Built NY totes. Which stays colder longer?

I don't have any experience with the others but we have two LLB ones and they are fantastic. We load them up, add a couple of small ice packs and it stays cool for hours...even when we are at the pool in the summertime.

We have the california innovations lunchbox from costco for DS1, and I love it. Keeps things cold really well, is just the right size, and has a snack bag built into the front.

My DH has the "6-pack" lunch bag from www.reuseit.com and loves it. He likes the boring colors (doesn't want it to look like one of the kids' lunchboxes), it's easy to carry with just a finger or two if he's carrying briefcase + other stuff to work, folds up to nearly nothing when empty, and keeps stuff really cold. I like that it's made in the USA, lead-free and made from recycled material and takes up very little space in the cabinet when he's not using it. Oh, it's also machine washable which is very handy.

We have these, and they are a great size. They hold quite a bit, and I prefer the larger capacity since I like to pack DDs two snacks, two drinks, an entree (in a tupperware). No issues with sizing with these, and they are well priced at under $12.

LOVE the LLB larger ones. The personal size is probably just as lovable. :heartbeat:

The LLB ones are great. Costco often has ones that work well. Also 31gifts has some nice ones. I would figure out what you plan to pack first though. I find that many of my lunch containers don't fit easily in most lunch boxes. Also I have had lots of spills too, so having something that is washable is great too.
