Yes, I just saw the news. I have a friend who just traveled back for work yesterday (she works several months out of the year there). Hoping she is ok. So scary for all of then. Hoping there isn't more damage from tsunamis too. :(

Now parts of the West Coast & Hawaii are under tsunami warning. Taiwan is expected to be hit within the next 30 mins or so.

Was watching CNN while working out this morning...how horrific! The images that they have are very powerful to watch... it is incredible how much damage Mother Nature can cause so quickly!

I tried contacting the friends we hav their but the lines are blocked so I just sent an email to thier family hoping that when they have news they will pass it along!

Very scary, especially the tsunami warnings that are out for so many places. The death toll seems relatively low right now in Japan, I hope it stays that way.

We have a good friend there who just had a beautiful baby girl recently.

I just spoke to my SIL her family is all on Okinawa they didn't feel the earthquake there and haven't had any excessive waves.
