So I got this screen protector:

http://www.amazon.com/SGP-MOTOROLA-Verizon-Protector-Steinheil/dp/B003VKQHVW/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1299861747&sr=8-11

It was a PITA to install. I ruined the first one and the second one (currently on my phone) has a few dirt particles and bubbles trapped in it that are driving me nuts.

I don't want to waste more money on this.

Any better ones out there?

I have this for the Droid 2, and I like it. This is the Droid X version:

I bought the one from the Verizon store when I got my phone and it's worked well. You cannot lift it even a tiny bit once you put it on, though. I think it came in a two or three pack.

I'm horrible at installing screen protectors. What I usually do is buy them at a b&m store and have an associate install it for me. They are pretty good at it. I've done this at both Verizon and the Apple store and they have been happy to help me.

I feel your pain. My husband got me a Nook & screen protectors for Christmas. The protectors were a 2-pack & needless to say my experience was exactly like yours.

Last month I got a new phone & my son got an Ipod Touch for his b-day. I wasn't going to repeat the Nook experience so I went to Best Buy, bought the Zagg protectors & had them install for $7 each. No qualms about spending that $14 to install since there is an art to installing them. Zaggs have a lifetime scratch warranty & the install has a 30-day warranty. Win-win all around.

I had one put on at BestBuy when I got my Droid Incredible- LOVE it. I've caught Matthew chewing on my phone and it hasn't left a mark, so I bought one for my iTouch too.

Awesome, and relatively easy install... and I'm horrible with those things.

You got the BEST one out there. PM me if you need install tips - getting it on right is worth it - trust me.

I just got a Sprint smart phone, it's an Optimus LG, I've noticed the screen seems to get greasy really quickly, am I supposed to have a screen protector?
