Verizon iPhone??

I currently have my cell phone service thru Verizon and I am eligible to upgrade my phone. I am considering getting the iPhone. I want to stick with Verizon and I am looking for feedback from anyone who has gotten that phone with Verizon. Are you happy with it? If not the iPhone, what other phones do people have and like? TIA.

DH just got his thru Verizon a couple weeks ago, and so far he loves it & I'm jealous :) We had plain old boring 'dumb' phones up 'til now, so it was a big change.

I have a Samsung Intensity II thru Verizon that I use for calls & the occasional text or picture-- no real complaints. Except one-- if you slide the keyboard out, it unlocks the phone. DD has 'texted' a couple of my friends that way.

I have one and I love it. I'm on it all the time it seems. Reception was a bit spotty at first, but has improved significantly, especially for Verizon-to-Verizon calls. Calls to/from other networks, OTOH, are still pretty choppy.
