These seem awfully cute to wear with crops for fun. Just wondering if the tie makes ones ankles look thick? I have never worn shoes with a tie around the ankle. I suppose I should try them on to see for myself, they may actually look too young for me once I get them on anyway.

ETA: These also seem cute and may be comfy (lower heel), and cheap!

I don't have those shoes, but I have had shoes with ties like that before. While they are cute, I think they are difficult to wear. The laces were always slipping down my leg/ankles and I always felt like I needed to adjust them. For short periods of time, they're okay, but i wouldn't plan on them for extended wearing. Just too annoying IMHO.

Interesting, never thought of the slippage issue. Definitely a once and awhile shoe, IF I do get them.
