thank you, and an update

Just wanted to tell everyone thank you who has kept my family in their thoughts and prayers. Things have been very tough here, and I have been trying to keep my head up.

Today on my way home I got an email that stressed me out so much my eye began twitching and hasn't stopped. I was frustrated, discouraged, depressed.

I took DS to the bookstore (the only form of entertainment in this town) to get my mind off things and while we were there I got a call.

It was the HR director for a position I had applied and interviewed for but was told flat out by the manager that I wouldn't be a good fit. Well, the HR director said that the manager I interviewed with said that the interview went really well and they would like to offer me a position.

It is in my exact field that I wanted to be in, exactly the pay I was hoping for (but not expecting) with vacation and benefits. It is a regular full time position with room for advancement within the company. I am so over the moon! I have been stuck in an endless cycle of temp jobs and projects over the last several years and am finally getting a chance to break out of the cycle. I can't even begin to express how much stress this lifts off me.

All I have to do now is pass background and drug screen (no prob) but I always get worried that they may change their mind between the offer and the filling out of paperwork. I just ask that you continue to send mojo our way until I start my first day. We could also use mojo for finding our perfect rental house in the next two weeks.

I love this board and it has been such a haven for me during these rough years and I just wanted to say thank you and I love you all!
