I need a new book to read...I just got the hunger games from the library but DH snagged it before I could start.
Nothing too serious...a funny light read would be good.
Suggestions?

If you want funny, check out Christopher Moore's books! :)

Have you read Mennonite in a Little Black Dress? It's very light, but pretty funny.

Something Borrowed by Emily Giffin (or any of her books)
Meg Cabot books are super light and fun as are Sophie Kinsella

try Sarah Addison Allen books. "Garden Spells" was one of my book club's favorites!

I also like
Dorthea Benton Frank (esp. Plantation)
Fannie Flagg (esp. welcome to the world, baby girl!)
Lorna Landvik (esp. angry housewives!)
Billie Letts (esp. honk and holler opening soon)
and i wouldn't say Michelle Moran's books are light, but i LOVED them. start with Nefertiti

I just finished the Bride Quartet Series by Nora Roberts. It was very light reading, but I really enjoyed them.

You're going to laugh at me, but the last book I read was called Catching Babies by JD Kleinke. Excellent read, but not exactly light.
