My college roommate is waiting on some news this week from a phd program that could potentially change her whole life trajectory. Its something she has been working for and focused on since I met her 8 years ago. The call she has been waiting for didnt come yesterday or today, and she is scared out of her mind and Im about ready to puke over nerves for her. She was really led to believe by the people that she interviewed with that she would be accepted into this program this year (she didn't get in last year, she was the alternate if one of the 2 they picked didnt accept, they only take 2-3 students a year).
If this situation doesn't work out I know she will be crushed. Her husband will be crushed too as she will be leaving for New Zealand next spring if she doesnt get a spot here. I know in the grand scheme of things this isnt a big deal to most of you, but any little mojo you could send her way would mean a lot to me. I don't want her heart to get broken again because she has her entire being focused on getting this spot and has worked so hard. Gah Im crying just out of nerves that its not going to work out, it means so much to her. :(
So please BBB is you could take half a second and think mojo for her, that she gets great amazing news this week, who knows maybe what they say is true and it will make a difference! Thanks so much!:love5:
