Safari Vest?

I am thinking of getting my 4 and 2 YO's a safari vest from Kohls (see link below). They love "exploring." I was thinking of maybe doing some playground scavenger cards and buying some accessories like magnifying glasses but I'm stumped for what else to buy.

Just wondering if anyone had anything similar and had any suggestions for things to add to the vest?

binoculars (or make with toilet paper tubes and string)
canteen/water bottle
flashlight or lantern
anything you can hang from one of those D rings
