When did you stop using it?

We just stopped a couple of weeks ago, at just under 7 months. He could still fit in it, but he was grabbing the faucet handles and I was afraid he was going to turn on either hot or cold water on himself... we're now using the euro tub. My back misses the puj tub!

When using the Puj, did you find it hard to get the water to drain (during the bath)? The drain hole seems to far up to work well unless I tilt the tub so much that then baby doesn't seem comfortable. Am I doing something wrong?

I don't think it's officially sanctioned but I think the way to get around that problem is to leave the water running - that was what I did once he got big enough that it became an issue, and before messing with the faucets became a concern. With the water running, the "dirty" water is constantly flowing out. Otherwise I don't think you can drain it while the baby is in there.

My plan is to use it until he's sitting up. We have a Eurotub for after. His big brothers are dying for him to be in the bath with them too.

I leave the water running b/c I have a gassy baby who benefits from warm water running over his belly, but that also does keep the water recycling through the bath.

So, sounds like you guys like the puj tub? I was thinking of getting one to use w/my new addition (I used one of those bath slings in the kitchen sink w/DD when she was tiny). I tried to search here the other day but the terms are too short to come up in search, so I was happy to see this pop up.

I LOVE the puj tub. I especially appreciated it after traveling and using a regular baby tub (the FP kind with a sling). My little guy just sat in it perfectly, from the very first time he used it - no slipping around. I have given them for gifts to a couple of friends who are second time moms because I know it wasn't around when they had their first. Keep an eye on Amazon - the price fluctuates between $30-40.

editing to add a couple of photos from DS's first and last baths in the puj tub.

I wanted to love the Puj, but I only like it. It really depends on what type of sink and faucet you use. We have several sinks in our home, and none of them fit the Puj very well. Our faucets are also almost too low for it. As I mentioned above, the Puj does not drain well for me even with the water running without having it at an odd angle that doesn't look comfy for baby. We're still using it since I want to use the sink for bathing. I also like how it hangs out of the way when not in use.

Thanks guys! Sounds like it's at least worth a try - I'd hope to use it in our kitchen sink, could also try it in the bathroom but I think that sink will be too small.

And candaceb, what a cutie your DS is!!! (I also got a kick out of the very discreetly placed washcloth in all the pics, lol). He looks very happy in it!

Oh I love those pics, candaceb!! Your DS is such a cutie! It looks like your faucet is a much better height than mine. Our faucets are really low, so there's not much room for the Puj.
