We have a Duplo table. In hindsight, we should have gotten it with a regular Lego top instead, as both Lego/Duplo would work on it. But we didn't so... my question:

Can we get some sort of top to put on the Duplo table to make it a Lego table? We're going to ditch the Duplo's but I'd rather keep the table for the Lego stuff!

Would the regular Lego base plates work?

How big is the table? Is the Duplo mat permanently attached? Nilo makes double sided (Lego/Duplo) mats for their tables, maybe they would work for you?

Does the table have a lip/sides or is it flat?

You could put the Lego baseplates on top, depending on the size of your table. Maybe you could attach the Lego baseplates with velcro sticky strips?

Another idea is to cover the duplo top with plywood or MDF and attach regular Lego baseplates.

Also smaller lego bricks can attach to Duplo, obviously not the really small pieces but the regular height bricks (like 2x4, 2x2 etc.) do fit on duplo. The thinner and narrower pieces won't fit on duplo though.
