I'm not sure if we've done this already, but let's share our best natural cleaning tips.

I just tried Flylady's kitchen sink cleaning and I :heartbeat: it. (I didn't even follow it all the way)

Bleach, vinegar, baking soda. What else do you have in your house as natural cleaning agents?

Baking soda
vinegar
tea tree oil (natural disinfectant)
castile soap (such as Bronners)
essential oils such as lavendar, lemon for scenting your cleaning solution
Bon Ami powder

Check out the book Clean House, Clean Planet. It's full of natural cleaner recipes and solutions:

And umm, you do know that bleach is the furthest thing from natural...right? It's incredibly toxic.

Yep, we use everything mentioned except Bon Ami. Karen Logan's recipes have worked really well for us!

I don't use bleach. For years I didn't even own any. I can't remember why I bought it but it is not something I feel comfortable with or find necessary. I use Bon Ami for the bath tub and toilet, vinegar for anything shiny and diluted castille soap for most everything else!

Everything PP mentioned except Bon Ami. I use lemon and baking soda together, it's a natural bleach. I like Ellen Sandbecks Organic Housekeeping. I found out about a Dutch Rubber Broom from there and love it! It replaced my Swiffer because I just use cloths instead of buying Swiffer pads.

:hysterical: Yes.. I don't know why I said that, lol. I think bleach was on my mind . or rather my brain from all the cleaning :)

Vinegar
Baking Soda
Borax
Oxigen bleach
Castille Soap
Tea tree oil, lavender oil, and others just for the smell.

Bleach, triclosan and ammonia are forbidden in our house.

I use the recipes from "Green up your clean up"
