DS's play area is in our open kitchen/family room area. We had a big black rug on the floor where he played. It kept him from bumping his head on the wood floor if he fell, he could lay down and have a bottle, play with his toys, etc.
Well, we hated the rug already because it shed TONS of black fibers and seemed to attract/show a lot of crumbs and stuff. Then overnight, our dog decided she wanted to go to the bathroom on it :bag Needless to say, it's now awaiting trash pickup.
Has anyone had a really good experience with a particular type/brand of rug? I think we got this one at Ikea. I hate to spend big bucks because it will get covered in milk and baby snacks and drool, but I want something durable and that will not show every drip and crumb. It's also part of our decor, so I'm trying to avoid anything that screams "baby." TIA!
