I have a City Mini (which I love), but I am also looking for a good, no frills umbrella stroller for quick trips with my 2 year old. Not really concerned about a basket or shade anything like that, just something that steers and fold up pretty easily and I can get her in and out of quickly. I'd prefer not to spend more than $50.

Oh, and cool colors would be nice too!

Any ideas? Thanks!!

If you're willing to go to $65 shipped, you can get the mac starck from albee.

Steers great, tons of room for bigger kids, and has an amazing shelf instead of a basket. And comes with an awesome travel bag and rain cover.

I have a BJCM that I love too, and a Mac Triumph for quick trips.
You can get a Mac Volo for $59.xx shipped on Ebay (and use Ebates for 4% cashback).
The Volo doesn't have any recline, but it's super light and easy to steer.

Haha, for me the city mini WOULD be my "lightweight" stroller. I do however have a chicco c6. they retail for about 65, but I'm sure if you get it with a coupon at babies r us or something you can get it for 50. I snagged a floor model with coupon for 42. As long as you're not tall, I think it's a great cheap, lightweight, umbrella stroller.

I agree! Don't get me wrong - I really like my City Mini, but I don't consider it a true "umbrella" stroller. It's a little too big (wide) than what I need it for. I want something really small and as "inconspicuous" as possible, if that makes any sense! No frills, just a seat with wheels is fine!
