I finally broke down and got the BJCED and the belly bar and am waiting for them to arrive. I have a 2-month-old and a 21-month-old. Do you think I will need/want to get the carseat adaptor or will I be okay just laying the baby flat in the fully-reclined stroller seat?

It's the only double we have right now, so it will be used for all of our neighborhood walks, zoo trips, and any short errands we run to the library, mall, etc.

How inconvenient is it to take the baby in and out of the carseat each time we use the stroller versus paying the money for the adaptor but only using it for the next 4 months, basically, until she fits in a Britax convertible carseat and won't use the carrier anymore?

I appreciate any experience/advice you have to share!

I say skip. For short errands, etc. invest in an Ergo and use your old single. We just put the baby in the seat flat.
