Moving with 3.5 weeks of school left questions

We just sold our house (yay!) but will be moving with 3.5 weeks of school left for the kids. I'm wondering if the school will let DD finish out her Kindergarten year. Who would you talk to...the board of education or her principal? I really hope that isn't going to be an issue. Any experience? (DS1 is in preK but I think that should be fine since we're paying for it.) Also DD is open enrolled but not sure if that matters.

They will let you finish, you will just need to let them know in the office.

They will let you finish, but it would be good to go ahead and put her in the new school and then she will at least know some kids when she starts next year.

Glad to hear that. I thought about starting her but she is VERY shy and I think it would be a little traumatizing to try and make friends that quickly for her. Plus I'm hoping to be in a neighborhood where she can meet some kids over the summer.
