When you download a children's picture book(Berenstein Bears, Curious George, etc.) onto your Kindle, are there pictures?

Well, I haven't downloaded any kid's books, but I just read a biography that included pictures and they showed up (in black and white, of course!).

If you have a kindle, why not sample a book to see?
