Baby Trend Expedition? SIL, new mom looking and wants this, asked what I think

Sil is expecting and she wanted to know what I think of the Baby Trend Expedition. Amazon says this thing weighs 30lbs. That alone seems awful.
Any other thoughts? How does the carseat rate? Anyone have the latest version of the book?

I used to have one of those. I rather liked it. I liked the recline, the canopy rotated so I could keep the sun out, peekaboo windows, and it steered okay. I hated that it didn't have a swivel wheel and got rid of it for that reason.

But I NEVER took it anywhere in the car. It was strictly for neighborhood walks. So it stayed in our house or he garage. There are better ones on the market,but for the price it's pretty decent.
