We are heading out to CA with my husband for a business trip in one week. We are very excited that we will actually have something to do over Spring Break but it is very last minute and I am very unprepared. We will be staying in Fullerton and my husband will be working during the day, home most days by 5. I will be at the hotel with my mother (who is very helpful) and four children (all boys - 8, 6 and 2-year old twins). We're renting a van and plan to go to Disney and Legoland on the days that my husband is off. What can I do in the area to keep the kiddos entertained during the day? Any advice for Disney and Legoland with kids my age? I will certainly need to rent a stroller but beyond that I'm lost :)

Thanks so much!

Just so you know they only have SINGLE strollers at Disneyland. If you want a double then you should bring your own. The strollers are baby joggers and they don't recline but I have seen a fair amount of kids napping in them. Other things to do besides Legoland and Disney. You can go to the beach. The closest beaches would be Huntington Beach and Newport Beach.

found these directions on mousepad
For Newport, just go down Harbor, which will run into Newport Blvd (you stay/turn right onto this) then stay straight and you will eventually cross over PCH and be on Balboa Pennisula, and keep going down this street and you will eventually hit the end which is where the pier is.. nice beach here. I'd probably go to Newport, but more Balboa Island (which you can reach two ways, but I'd recommend going down Jamboree until you go over the bridge onto the island...little shops and such there). Here is a link for the ferry over to Balboa Island http://www.balboaislandferry.com/ http://www.balboa-island.com/

Laguna is a nice too but farther away.

Discovery Science Center is a few miles away in Santa Ana

just an fyi there is a Disney Outlet store not far away if you wanted to pick up some discounted disney stuff

Disney's Character Warehouse
243 East Orangefair Mall, Fullerton, CA

For Legoland make sure you bring the kids swim suits and towels... they have a water play area and a couple of wet rides right in the same area.
