Got my new micralite couple days ago and love it!
Was meaning to write a full-blown review with pics and all, but work and life got too busy. Next week maybe.

But, if anyone has questions about micralite superlite, I'm happy to answer them as a proud owner and humble stroller expert :)

I got one too and also love it, but it is still hiding in my closet so no review yet. :D

Just got mine yesterday, but haven't been able to use it yet. I love it so far! It's a great stroller for toddlers. Love the AT/umbrella combination. DS climbed right in and sat in it for a while last night. Even my DH liked it! Now I just need to get rid of a stroller, so I can get back down to 3. I will probably give the Triumph the ax, even though I really like it too. The FF is only 3 lbs. more, and is wider in front, but more versatile. I am getting a Mac liner for it too-- the blue liner on blue canopy seems a little boring.

Kaylee - Thanks for the pics. Your seat looks so white in the pics. Mine is pretty grey with grey trim. Is yours less white IRL? I can't wait to try it out!

It might be flash? Or camera setting?
Blue looks very dark, compared to SQ's review

Nonetheless - a great lil' stroller,
love the pic next to the mac triumph, gives great size comparison!

Do you think it would look strange to have a blue liner with a yellow canopy? I feel like mixing and matching, but don't know if that's too much!

No, it wouldn't look strange. I think blue & yellow; or black & yellow would look great together.

Yeah, it's gray IRL. My Mac liner came today, and it matches perfectly. It's still raining here, so I'm glad my cheapie raincover fits it. http://www.amazon.com/Deluxe-Weatherproof-Retractable-Easy-Access-Window/dp/B002PXSX0Y/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1301695974&sr=8-1-spell
I haven't been this excited about a stroller in a long time! :rotflmao:
I don't know why. My only issue w/it is that there is no way to un-attach the chest straps. I usually only put the lap belt on DS in a stroller (unless it was rough terrain or something). But there is enough slack to just put the straps behind him.
More pics! :p I have officially hijacked Purpelina's thread...:bag

So, out of curiosity, tell me how older/bigger kids fit? And tell me about the canopy. Is it really useless? I secretly daydream that this might be my one and only stroller when dd is older and we don't use a stroller much anymore. . . .

Thanks!

Catherine

Thanks for all the pics. I took some too, but then my camera ate them. Or my computer did. I'm not sure which!

My ultimate test will be how it does on the bus.

Catherine, I really am not sure how it will fit older kids. It seems pretty narrow at the top, but the hammocky seat is very forgiving.

NOt at all! I made a promise and you started to actually fulfilling it, thank you!:cheerleader1:

BTW: older kids DO fit in this stroller. They would rest the head on the canopy, but they do fit. My huge 6 y.o. fits right in! (not that she needs to, but for research purposes...)

AND I took it for a spin today, did great! I love higher handles, so I can wear heels while pushing my stroller (with mac I would hunch over), and I can push and steer one handed, :yay:

Well, when you've been stalking a stroller for months I'm not sure how much of it is luck... :)

I'd love to see a pic of a six year old in it if you're willing to share.

I was thinking about possibly ordering the sun shade for it from diapers.com. Free returns, so no stress if it ends up not being useful.

Well, I wasn't I was thinking weather I need it or not. Once I decided to get it - a sale rolled along. So to me it was luck.

I never have saved searches on ebay, the site is not even in my bookmarks. When I decide to get something, I start madly checking all websites, and googling till my fingers hurt.

This is very true. I remember you saying you would get a Micralite if you found one for around $150 and I thought, "How is she ever going to find one for around $150???" I couldn't believe it when they had these on Ebay!

I was looking for reviews of the sun shield and found a bunch of reviews of the stroller here (http://kiddicarereviews.kiddicare.com/review/100478). Hope this link works.

May I just complain for a second that the Micralite FF Superlite costs the equivalent of $240 in the UK and comes with the rain cover included.

Awesome that you ladies got that stroller! I have wondered about it for some time, but haven't yet pulled the trigger, probably will try this summer.

How does this ride in comparison with the Maclaren, is it really worth getting it for the large air tires (does it really have much smoother ride, easier push)? I am just not ready for umbrella yet with the extra long walks we take, need something that handles close to my Cam.

How is the recline on it? Had you ever taken your DC in it for a nap? Do they look comfortable?

Congrats and I am jealous of the great prices you got! I saw it on ebay for 180 and on Craigslist and didn't pull the trigger... Hope some sale comes my way when I am ready ;)

Me neither! I've been curious about it, but never seriously considered the stroller b/c it was so expensive. And usually I miss all the great deals!

I've only had the Triumph & Volo, but wouldn't say either the Mac or FF push is easier-- indoors anyway. The Macs are lighter and you can feel that in the push; but the FF feels more solid. The FF is definitely better outside, even over smooth sidewalks, b/c the back tires help absorb any bumps. My DS is 25 lbs., I think the FF push will be better than a Macs as a child gets heavier.
