Having my bathroom redone with marble tile on the walls and floors and also marble vanity top. What do you use to clean them without doing any damage? I know you are not supposed to use anything acidic or abrasive. Also wondering what to use in the bath area, which will inevitably have soap scum and mildew.

Any suggestions would be appreciated! TIA

Not sure if marble is any different from granite or travertine. But in our current house and the house before that, we had granite floor and shower tile as well as travertine floor tile and silestone countertops. Honestly, I never used anything special on them and have never had any problems. I find that the blue Method window spray makes my polished granite countertops sparkle and I've used the other Method products on our shower tile.

I would think if you called a tile store, they would know how to care for special stones since they usually stock them. I'd be wary of any special "store" cleaners they try to push on you. hth.
