The Electrolux Ultrasilencer Canister vac?

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002L3ART8/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER

It looks like a quiet vac with HEPA filtration, good for hardwood, light weight and with lots of attachments for different cleaning jobs, which is what we're looking for. We don't have stairs, and only one carpeted room. No pets at the moment, but we might get a dog further down the line. Does anyone have this vac, and if so, are you happy with it? Would love to get any feedback. Thanks!

I bought the EL4101A from Costco last month. I really wanted something for hardwoods ONLY, to replace sweeping with a broom, for my cleaning ladies. My cleaning ladies really like it because it is not too heavy. I have a lot of square footage and they and I think it is effective at removing dust/crumbs from the floors.

I don't know enough about electrolux models to comment further.

BTW I have a hoover upright that works great for carpet, only on its second motor, originally from 1999! My cleaning ladies like that one too.

Thanks! I'm planning to get it as my single vac for the house (1500 sq ft, all hardwood except the study, no stairs). Think it will do the trick?

Our is great on hardwood. I haven't tried it on carpet but since you have so little carpet, I am guessing you will be fine with it. I have seen my cleaning ladies use our canister on carpeted stairs with one of the attatchments.

I'm suprised no one else on this board has the vac you are looking at.

Curious, did you get it? If so, how is it?
