I bought a decorative sign for Easter with all intentions on hanging it on the front door. However, every time the wind blows, you can hear it beating against the door. (And I never realized it was so windy here!) I added those little felt pads to all the corners but it doesn't seem to be helping. I thought about trying to command strip it to the door but the back doesn't sit flush against the door?

Any ideas?

Can you glue some felt pads that are thicker/bigger (like for the bottom of chairs, etc) to the back of the sign?

Use this stuff, it will hold it in place then comes off easily.

You can use earthquake wax. It doesn't have to be flush for that, as long as there are points of contact that are at least half an inch or so. It takes a little time to "harden" but once it is hard, it works well. The nice thing is, you can remove it without damaging the door.
